You may service and test EV Chargers installed in public and commercial places for electrical safety and compliance with AS3000 standards with this equipment for testing electric car charging stations. You may thoroughly test any charging station with the EVSE adaptor.
With the help of this electric vehicle charging station testing equipment, you can inspect and assess the electrical safety and AS3000 compliance of EV Chargers installed in public and commercial spaces. With the EVSE adapter, you can thoroughly test any charging station.
The FEV300 test adapter kit with a Type 2 connector is made to assess the efficiency and security of charging stations using AC in mode 3. An installation tester (Fluke 1664 FC) and/or a ScopeMeter® (Fluke 120B Series) are two suitable test instruments that can be used in conjunction with the adapter to conduct testing while it simulates an electric vehicle and initiates a charging cycle. Charging stations can be tested in compliance with IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722 using the adapter kit.
Use the FEV300-CON-TY2 Type 2 Plug to connect to an EV charging station Type 2 with a socket outlet or an EV charging station Type 2 with a vehicle connector. All in one adapter that safely interfaces with the Fluke array of test and measurement tools to perform a variety of tests such as ground fault checks, wire insulation, measuring voltage and duty cycle to see maximum current available for charging. The FEV300 can mimic CP (E) and PE (Earth Fault) errors and features independent phase indication through three LED lamps for a quick check to see if voltage is present. There is no need to bring an electric vehicle onsite for charging station troubleshooting: when connected to a charging station, the adapter functions as an electric vehicle for convenient performance and maintenance testing.
